11th April 2018 - The University of Suffolk Students’ Union is working with Membership Solutions Ltd on a new membership management system to support their student engagement objectives and the university’s growth plans. The solution will comprise a new website, the StudentLink®, online elections, clubs and societies resources and student voice facilities.
Membership Solutions Ltd (MSL) is delighted to announce that the University of Suffolk Students’ Union has chosen to move to the MSL System to help shape their students’ experience at University and enhance campus life. The Students’ Union is run by a team of elected officers and provides internships, societies, sports, events, independent advice and numerous opportunities to get involved and enhance skills and career prospects whilst supporting the new University’s aim to grow and enhance its reputation.
The University of Suffolk gained its University status in 2016, having been established in 2007 as University Campus Suffolk. It has multiple sites in Suffolk and Norfolk - and its 5,000 students are automatically members of the Students’ Union and will benefit from the new digital tools provided by the MSL System.
We’re really excited for our new partnership with MSL and the opportunity to work with a creative and innovative platform. MSL offers us the flexibility and opportunity to create a dynamic website for our students and I’m looking forward to seeing how this develops and grows. The MSL System should be a gear change in how we communicate digitally with our students and we hope it increases engagement from our students across all campuses.
Rachel Gilbey, President of the University of Suffolk Students’ Union
These are exciting times for both the University and the Students’ Union at Suffolk. The team at MSL are delighted to have been chosen to support the Union as it finds new ways to engage with members, increase participation and enhance its services to students across two counties. The MSL System is inherently flexible and its modular design works especially well for growing organisations which recognise the importance of digital communications to successfully achieve their objectives.
