6th December 2017 - Ulster University Students’ Union has chosen to implement a range of digital solutions from Membership Solutions Ltd to support their student engagement objectives.  The Union has successfully used MSL Elections since 2014 and will now add a new website, clubs and societies tools, volunteering, door entry and venue management platforms to their online membership management tools.

MSL is delighted to announce that, following a formal tender procedure, the Ulster University Students’ Union (UUSU) has chosen to implement the core MSL System plus Volunteering, Door Entry and Venue Management platforms to enhance their online engagement opportunities already enabled through the MSL Elections system. This enhanced provision will support the Union’s student engagement objectives over the next three years.

UUSU represents over 25,000 students across four campuses in Northern Ireland, providing support services, social opportunities through clubs, societies and events and commercial outlets including shops, bars and catering facilities. The Union is led by seven full time Student Officers who are supported by a team of full time staff, the student council and the trustees. The MSL System will assist UUSU in its over-arching strategic objectives to improve the lives of students, help them fulfil their potential and ensure their voice is heard.

Kevin McStravock, President of the Ulster University Students’ Union commented: “UUSU is excited to work with MSL in developing our new online membership platform.  Our new website will help us build and develop our student engagement, as set out in our Strategic Plan. We want to keep our students connected and up to date regarding all the SU has to offer.  The Union is confident that our new website platform will allow our members to fully engage and get involved with their Union.”

Colin Watson, Chief Executive of Membership Solutions Ltd, added: “We have been privileged to work with UUSU for some three years, supporting their democratic processes with MSL’s online Elections platform.  So, we are especially pleased that this positive experience of our student engagement solutions has led the Union to choose to extend our relationship by implementing even more of the MSL System.  We very much look forward to working closely with the entire UUSU team over the coming years.”
