21st September 2015 - North East Scotland College Students’ Association has chosen to utilise MSL’s membership management platform to support their students, elections and clubs and societies activity.

MSL is pleased to be building on its relationship with North East Scotland College Students’ Association (NESCOLSA) following their decision to use MSL’s complete membership management platform.  This move will build on their current MSL elections facility which they adopted in May 2015 to support the presidential elections. NESCOLSA will benefit from a new website, ecommerce and point of sale facilities, clubs and societies tools, blogs, polls and surveys to support and engage with their student members.

North East Scotland College is a further and higher education college with campuses and learning centres in Aberdeen and across Aberdeenshire offering a range of full time, part time, flexible learning and online courses to over 21,000 students.  The Students’ Association is run by college students with elected presidents who represent the student body on the college Board of Management as well as organising a wide variety of events open to all students.

Stephen Smith, Student Association Manager at North East Scotland College said, “Following on from the success of utilising the MSL voting system, we are pleased to have adopted MSL’s complete membership management platform. As we continue to develop as a Students’ Association we recognise the importance of increasing student engagement through a range and number of possible mechanisms and we are confident that the MSL package will assist us with this.  The MSL staff have always been very helpful and supportive during with any enquiries we have had.”

MSL Chief Executive, Colin Watson, commented “We are delighted that the North East Scotland College Students’ Association has decided to utilise the full functionality of our membership management platform. We know that MSL Elections contributed to one of the biggest voter turnouts for the Student’s Association in May this year and are confident that the complete MSL platform – with all its engagement, management and reporting capabilities - will provide significant support to the services the Association provides.
