We are very excited to bring you news of the MSL Big Day Out which will see us touring the UK and Ireland from January to April, bringing the MSL community together in regional user groups. We are in the planning stages now but more details of dates and locations are in the article below. MSL's Big Day Out comes to a venue near you in 2020

The inaugural MSL Big Day Out will be hitting a location near you in the new year. Each tour date will comprise learning and best practice sessions delivered by your students' union colleagues, opportunities to learn more about MSL's product plans, 'how do I...' sessions with the MSL gurus and ad hoc breakouts to cover hot topics that come up during the day. We are now finalising dates and locations in the Midlands, Scotland, North of England, London/South East, Wales/South West and Ireland - look out for more information coming out in the next couple of weeks. But if you'd like to register your interest in attending and/or delivering a session now, please contact us. We look forward to seeing you lots of you very soon!

Elections training options to suit everyone in January

We're running our popular MSL Elections training day on 15th January here at MSL, which will be followed up a week of lunchtime web briefings to reinforce your learning. If you can't attend on the 15th, these web briefings will be highly focussed sessions looking at specific areas of your Elections set up ideal for dipping in to catch the topics of most interest to you. More information can be found on the Event page in MyMSL where you can also register your interest in attending.

Our latest development blog highlights some changes you might have missed...

This week's blog is about the recent changes we’ve made which have resulted in a significant improvement to your overall website performance. The quickest way to get help? Live Chat - direct to you from the Knowledge Base

Two years ago we implemented a new support channel in the shape of our Live Chat facility. If you use our Knowledge Base (and if you don't, why not?), you'll see the friendly blue speech bubble waiting patiently to be clicked in the bottom right corner of your screen. Since Live Chat went, well, live, we've handled 1,142 chat enquiries from just over 50% of the MSL community. The majority of enquiries we can resolve for you there and then - and that's the whole point of Chat, it's quick and easy to get an answer - but there are the odd things we can't help with like passwords, permissions, data enquiries and complex design questions; we're sure you understand why we need things like that sent in by email. So, if you haven't tried Live Chat yet, head over to Knowledge Base to give it a go and test out just how good the MSL gurus are.
