18th May 2016 - Edinburgh University Sports Union (EUSU) has selected Membership Solutions Ltd (MSL) to supply a membership management system, including new website and the MSL App, which will provide the digital resources needed to manage the diverse requirements of their clubs and members.

EUSU is a charitable organisation which runs the sports clubs at the University of Edinburgh.  It is made up of 64 clubs and over 8000 members, with access to facilities split across three sites in Edinburgh run by Sport & Exercise. It is run by seven staff members including the Sports President with support from nine executive committee members.

EUSU was initially attracted to MSL because of the flexibility of its membership and ticketing system which, coupled with the reassurance taken from MSL’s existing strong relationship with Edinburgh University Students’ Association, led to the Sports Union’s decision to utilise The MSL System© for an initial three-year term.

Ross Simpson, Sports Programme Manager at Edinburgh University Sports Union, explains their decision: “As an organisation that is always looking to develop, professionalise and improve our offering signing with MSL was a no-brainer! We want a system that can improve our functionality but, above all, make life easier for all the students that use it and at a reasonable price too.  The opportunities that the system offers are endless and the ongoing development and support MSL can provide were both reasons for us signing on. We are all very much excited to be working with MSL and to see what can be achieved.”

Colin Watson, CEO at Membership Solutions Ltd, commented “We are delighted to be working with Edinburgh University Sports Union and forming even closer ties with the student membership at the University. We understand how important the provision of extra-curricular activities is for encouraging participation and EUSU is obviously an important part of many students’ lives. We look forward to working with EUSU and helping them to achieve their objectives.”

20th November 2019 - Instant access to everything, at any time, no matter what it is – that’s the mantra by which your student members live; from travel information to fast food, gig tickets to current affairs. Your website is a hub of information and opportunities to participate that many students rely upon to support their university and social lives - and so they expect that same feeling of immediacy from your site as they get from ASOS and Amazon.
