City of Glasgow College Students’ Association engages with more students using the MSL System

25th March 2910 - City of Glasgow College Students’ Association has implemented the MSL System® to increase opportunities to reach more of its members. The new online facility includes a website, clubs and societies resources, events and ticketing, student voice tools and integrated elections.

Membership Solutions Ltd (MSL) is pleased to have worked with City of Glasgow College and their Students’ Association (City SA) on the successful implementation of their new membership engagement system. The MSL System now provides comprehensive membership management and online elections facilities to support the Association’s presidential team and executive committee in their endeavours to engage with and represent all students at the College.

City of Glasgow College was formed in 2010 as a merger of the three largest colleges in Glasgow city centre. It teaches a wide range of practical skills and vocational subjects including construction, design, media, food, hospitality, sport and tourism. The College has around 27,000 students all of whom are members of the Students’ Association. The MSL System will support the Association over the next three years as it puts a new strategic plan in place.

We are delighted with our new website from the look through to the functionality. Working with MSL has been the perfect solution as we seek to further enhance how we communicate with our members. The membership engagement system will undoubtedly have huge benefits to how we improve the services and representation that we provide for our students.

Kevin Ward, Students' Association Co-ordinator at City of Glasgow College Students’ Association

The MSL team is delighted to be supporting the City SA team with their student engagement initiatives. The MSL System is already proven within the college sector and our work with City SA now shows how suited it is for meeting the challenges presented by a large dispersed student community.

Colin Watson, CEO of Membership Solutions

20th November 2019 - Instant access to everything, at any time, no matter what it is – that’s the mantra by which your student members live; from travel information to fast food, gig tickets to current affairs. Your website is a hub of information and opportunities to participate that many students rely upon to support their university and social lives - and so they expect that same feeling of immediacy from your site as they get from ASOS and Amazon.
