City University London Students’ Union chooses MSL membership management platform

18th May 2015 - The MSL membership management system will help CULSU staff and officers provide engaging and relevant services to its members, encourage greater participation in activities and campaigns whilst reducing the administration load associated with running over 70 clubs and societies as well as numerous exec, course, school and club elections.

MSL will implement their core membership management platform to provide CULSU with a new website and content management system, polls and surveys functionality, point of sales and online shopping, clubs and societies management, events and ticketing and the single sign-on facility for students to access all union provided services. Integral to the core system is the in depth reporting across all union touch points which will assist CULSU with their performance monitoring and development plans.

CULSU has also chosen to utilise the Elections module as it provides a secure, robust and flexible voting system suitable for all their elections, conforms to Electoral Reform Society’s ‘ERS97’ Single Transferable Vote guidelines in addition to the NUS guidance on fair representation.

City University London Students' Union Chief Executive, Yemi Gbajobi: “The Union has found that interacting with students on a digital platforms is becoming increasingly important moving forward and so we are really excited to be working with MSL to build more than just a website, but a membership hub which is interactive, vibrant and an effective communication tool. University of Cumbria Students’ Union to support clubs and societies with Student Group Finances

18th June 2019 - The University of Cumbria Students’ Union will use MSL's Student Group Finances system to improve the support services provided to its clubs and societies. With a growing number of student-led groups the Union has recognised the need to streamline their finance processes for committees and so encourage more activities and participation. Student Group Finances will support this initiative by enabling finance requests to be quickly and easily carried out online.
