Since our beginnings at University of Warwick Students' Union, we have worked with students’ and sports unions, associations, guilds and universities in the UK, Ireland, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the UAE – today, more than 50% of all higher education students in the UK have access to information and services made available by MSL technologies. What’s on offer?

Basic salary: £40,000-£45,000 per annum, subject to skills and experience

Duration:     Permanent

Hours:         A minimum working week of 37.5 hours will be required each week.  Core office hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. Flexibility is required to meet the demands of the post, including an occasional requirement for weekend and evening work.

Location:     MSL takes a hybrid approach with office and homeworking however you must be able to travel to the office in Coventry, West Midlands, based in the UK. Our office is located on the University of Warwick campus, but you may be expected to work in Coventry or anywhere within a 10-mile radius as required. MSL will provide an office workspace to anyone wishing to work in an office environment more frequently.

Working closely with the rest of the management team and reporting directly to the Chief Executive, this is a great opportunity to bring a fresh and new perspective, implement it and be able to see the results of your efforts. Working with and managing our Digital Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for communicating the MSL message to customers, prospect and other stakeholders in current and new markets in the UK and internationally.

Who are you?

You will be experienced in the creation of successful campaigns, storytelling and messaging and will have a good understanding of marketing best practices across all channels. Your communication skills – written and verbal – will be excellent and, alongside your superb planning and organisation skills, you do not fear deadlines. Whilst being able to apply your creative mindset, you are as comfortable being analytical to understand, measure and report on targets and impact and to seek continuous improvement. You are a team player, easy to get along with and you take your work – but not yourself – seriously. You thrive on seeing the results of your work positively impact the business and all its stakeholders.
