Aston Students’ Union chooses MSL to help support their 12,000 members

10th August 2015 - Aston Students’ Union has selected Membership Solutions Ltd (MSL) to design and implement its new website and complete membership management system, further strengthening their relationship established in 2014 with the Union’s use of the MSL online elections platform

10th August 2015 - Aston Students’ Union has selected Membership Solutions Ltd (MSL) to design and implement its new website and complete membership management system, further strengthening their relationship established in 2014 with the Union’s use of the MSL online elections platform

Aston Students’ Union provides a range of services and facilities for its student members including bars, shops, an advice centre, copy shop, job shop and the Student Activities office where students can join over 120 sports clubs and societies. The MSL system will support its student engagement activities and the Union is particularly keen to migrate its clubs and societies administration - which was previously paper-based - to the new facility.

Aston Students’ Union will continue to use MSL Elections which is fully integrated with the core system, giving the Union even greater visibility of their members’ participation levels and enabling targeted messages based on students’ past interests and behaviour.

Aston Students' Union believes that interacting with our members through digital platforms is crucial to modern, successful student engagement. We are very pleased to be working with MSL to develop a new website and membership system which will assist us with the coordination of the Aston Athletic Union and Aston SU societies. The system will also support wider areas such as elections and online sales. The move onto a digital membership system is a significant and ground-breaking step forward for Aston Students' Union.  We have been really impressed by the experience and expertise of our partners at MSL and have full confidence that the MSL team will help us to deliver a fantastic service for Aston students
