June 2015 - We're pleased to bring you the first installment of our early Summer 2015 newsletter; look out for the next one in a couple of weeks when we have even more news to bring you.
June 2015 - Summer arrived on the 1st June but the only signs MSL has seen of this change in season are the number of Summer Balls being organised. Ticket sales are keeping everyone busy and we're looking forward to seeing photos of all your events. In the meantime, we have new developments, new Students' Unions to welcome to the MSL community and a warm invitation from our CEO, Colin Watson, to join him on our stand at the NUS Trade Show for a catch up and to hear about your key initiatives and strategies.

We're busy working with Northumbria Students' Union (NSU) on the design and implementation of their new website and associated services to support NSU's student awareness, engagement and participation objectives. This follows NSU's formal selection of MSL to help them strengthen their relationships with prospective students and parents, the general public and alumni as part of a wider modernisation programme to transform their student services. Read more about NSU's new digital platform.
We're pleased to announce that a fully branded, native mobile app will soon be available to support your day-to-day engagement plans for your students. The app will make information readily available, simplify all interactions and offer an attractive and personalised experience on the latest Apple and Android devices*. We'll have more information to share with you at the NUS Trade Show on 9th July at Bolton Arena so contact us to arrange a time to meet up on stand 54. In the meantime, take a look at the preview - we welcome your feedback.
Central SU will use the MSL Elections module to support their annual elections of volunteer student officers, plus the full-time sabbatical President. Central SU represents a very active body of 1,000 students at the Royal Central School of Speech & Drama providing them with a diverse range of community, welfare and social activity support. Read more about Central SU's elections plans.
Express Check-Out is now available for your MSL online shop! If you missed our recent email communications about this new facility designed to help you significantly increase sales from your online shops and dramatically improve your customers experience on your website, contact the Helpdesk to find out how to switch on this facility and the costs involved.
One of the recent posts to the MSL Forum might come in useful round about now as you promote your big ticketed summer events. If you are looking for ways to offset administration costs of those big do's that take lots of time and planning then applying booking fees to tickets is an easy win. Find out how quick and easy it is to do this - and don't forget to share the photos with us afterwards!
