Spring 2026 Releases: More Control, Smarter Administration and New Tools for Student Engagement

This Summer, we’re introducing a range of enhancements across the MSL System® designed to give your team more control, reduce manual administration and strengthen how you manage student engagement across activities, student voice and features coming soon. From centralised stock management to enhanced feedback tools, these updates are all about helping teams work more efficiently while improving oversight.

Central Stock Control

Managing stock across multiple shops is now much easier with Central Stock Control, allowing one shared stock level to update automatically across sales channels. It reduces manual administration, helps prevent overselling and gives teams greater confidence in inventory accuracy.

 

Enhancements to Stripe Integration

We’ve made changes to how Stripe is integrated to ensure robust performance during busy sales periods.

Decoupling how the MSL website receives information from Stripe means that, regardless of how busy a site gets, payments and transactions are kept in sync, tickets get freed up from abandoned transactions and back on sale more quickly, with a smoother experience for purchasers.

Additional improvements also help recover abandoned tickets and stock more quickly, reducing sales management issues during high-demand periods.

 

More Flexible Permissions and Reporting

New Group Management Permissions and Report Folder Permissions give organisations more control over access, governance and group setup.

We’ve also introduced new deletion queue admin screens and enhanced SSO staff account management tools, helping teams improve oversight, streamline onboarding and manage administration more efficiently.

 

Student Voice and Feedback Enhancements

Updates to Ideas and Feedback introduce more flexibility, including hidden submitter names, easier feedback ownership management and upcoming anonymous feedback tools. These changes help organisations engage participation while reducing administrative pressure.

 

Coming Soon

We’re also introducing the ability to Delete Feedback Items and the Auto-Management of Rep Feedback Roles, helping teams manage feedback spaces more easily and streamline representation processes.

New volunteering enhancements including Risk Assessment, Hours Management, Opportunity Requirements and Underage Volunteer Indicators. Together, they support safer volunteering, stronger compliance and better oversight for your staff and volunteers.

We’re also rolling out refreshed website icons across student-facing areas to create a cleaner and more consistent user experience.
