8th April 2019 - Leeds Trinity Students’ Union has selected the MSL System® to underpin its plans for increasing student engagement through activities, representation and clubs and societies. The MSL System will provide a new website, student groups resources, events and ticketing, ecommerce, integrated online elections and the StudentLink® app.

Membership Solutions Ltd (MSL) is pleased to announce that Leeds Trinity Students’ Union (LTSU) will implement the MSL System as its new digital membership management platform.  LTSU and its members will benefit from a wide range of student groups resources including Grant Applications and Student Group Finances to drive participation in clubs and societies activities, online elections to support their officer and course rep elections and the StudentLink app.

Leeds Trinity University is based on their Horsforth campus in Leeds with its c3,000 students specialising in teaching, the humanities and social sciences. The award-winning Students’ Union provides support, representation and activities for all those students based around their three ‘Big Plan’ priorities of advocacy, inclusion and innovation.

I am delighted that we are going to collaborate with MSL in our digital engagement. The tools and capability of the platform are incredibly dynamic and match our ambitions. We look forward to utilising the technology and functionality of the MSL platform.

Matt Webber, General Manager at Leeds Trinity Students’ Union

MSL welcomes Leeds Trinity Students’ Union to our community – we’re looking forward to working with the LTSU team on their new membership management system which will underpin their priorities for empowering and supporting students to reach their potential. The nature of the MSL System is that it is scalable and so ideally suited to the changing requirements of a growing students’ organisation such as LTSU. We are delighted that LTSU has chosen to work with MSL at an important stage of its development.

The digital transformation had started back in 2016 when MSL Elections was used to run online voting for the first time - a move which resulted in the highest number of votes placed and posts filled for five years. Encouraged by their members’ enthusiasm for participating online, the decision was made to implement the core MSL System.
