How your website looks is completely up to you. We do not ask you to adhere to any prescribed templates, branding or content. If you have a web developer we will train them in how to build great looking skins and templates for different areas of your site. If you don't, we can do it for you.
You can build new pages into your website quickly and easily using the integrated web based content management system and add photos, videos and flash movies using simple point and click tools.
Site navigation is created automatically ensuring no ‘dead’ links or inaccessible pages but as with all aspects of the MSL system is completely and easily customisable to meet your specific requirements.
Read, Write, CSS and Script access to every page on the site can be restricted to specific groups enabling you to provide different areas of your website for different interests. Staff intranet sites, club and society sections and more can all be login restricted to only those who should have access.
Clubs, societies, committees and other groups can maintain their own area on the site with all of the functionality of the content management system at their disposal allowing organisations to add as many pages of user generated content as they wish.
Each page can contain sections of content (including documents and images) that are specific to people who are logged in to the site, members of a certain group or administrators of that group. This makes customising each page for different people quick and simple yet extremely versatile and powerful.
Video, Podcasts and Dynamic Content

Dynamic content, that is content that changes over time or based on who is viewing the site, can be easily added with an ever expanding library of ‘widgets’. Each widget, (e.g. organisation specific news, event lists, calendars, product catalogues or an RSS feed) can be created and updated using a simple widget builder. These automatically take care of out of date information, only displaying content to relevant people so you don’t need to monitor your site constantly worrying about stale information.
In addition to the video, music and flash upload features, rich media integration with video sites like You Tube provides a quick, simple and secure way to add content to the site simply by cutting and pasting the web address into a page. The system takes care of all the code required to insert the media files saving you and your members time.
Content can be published way in advance of when it is due to go ‘live’ on the site so you don’t need to be sat a computer waiting to press the ‘publish’ button whenever something of importance is set to start.
Every change made to the content of the site is recorded and archived. New pages can be previewed before publication and a detailed history of changes made to individual pages can be reviewed allowing you to track who changed what and when and, if required, revert the page back to a previous version.
Behind the easy and intuitive point and click WYSIWYG interfaces the system allows complete customisation of the site layout. A powerful xhtml/css based templating system allows real time editing with no restrictions on content or style allowing you to fully customise different areas of your site.

The system framework is built using web standards compliant code and output validates as WCAG 2.0 accessible. This means that the site is completely accessible to users of any technology used to read web pages whether it is a normal web browser, handheld PDA or phone or specialist screen reader software.
