25th July 2016 - MSL is delighted that Bishop Grosseteste Students’ Union has chosen to replace their membership management platform with the MSL System®. The new system will incorporate website, clubs and societies resources, messaging and online elections to support the Union’s primary objectives of promoting student welfare and providing social, cultural, sporting and recreational activities for those members.

Bishop Grosseteste Students’ Union (BGSU) has chosen to upgrade to the MSL System® to provide engagement resources to support their student members during their time at university. BGSU will use MSL’s core Membership Management system and the Elections module to encourage its 2,500 members to participate with campus life and personal development opportunities.

BGSU is one of the smaller higher education students’ unions in the UK with 2,500 students based on an attractive campus in the cathedral city of Lincoln. Students study at the university which is predominantly a teacher training institution with a religious ethos inspired by the Church of England.  Members benefit from an ever-growing number of clubs and societies and regular events including the annual Graduation Ball.

Abigail Rogers, Student Union Manager at Bishop Grosseteste Students’ Union, commented: “We are really excited to be working with MSL as the MSL platform will enable us to engage with our student body more effectively and make it far easier to reach the goals set in our strategic plan over the next four years.”

Colin Watson, CEO at Membership Solutions Ltd, added: “MSL is very pleased to be working with Bishop Grosseteste Students’ Union - a growing union supporting a community of enthusiastic and dedicated students. We are delighted to have been selected to help BGSU deliver even more services and are committed to providing them with a platform that has the flexibility and capacity to cope with the changing demands of students’ union activities.”
