October 2020 - The University of Cambridge Students’ Union has implemented the core MSL System™ together with online Elections and Referenda and Student Group Finances to provide a range of digital engagement services to members. The newly merged under- and post-graduate organisations will offer access to clubs and societies resources, ticketing, feedback and online community tools and online voting through its new website.

The University of Cambridge is the second oldest University in the world and is consistently top-ranked in UK and World tables for teaching and research. Its newly constituted Students’ Union will deliver a re-branded digital offer to some 23,000 members following the merger of the under- and post-graduate unions.

Following a review of the market, and with experience of working with MSL on the provision of their student advice and advocacy system, the new Students’ Union selected MSL as their supplier of choice for the new digital engagement platform. MSL’s experience of providing engagement solutions able to support a collegiate model offered further reassurance to the Union as did the ability to integrate with their preferred payment provider, Stripe.

Gary Bryant, Chief Executive of Membership Solutions Ltd added:

The MSL team is excited to be strengthening the relationship we have with the University of Cambridge Students’ Union. The new Union will undoubtedly offer lots of exciting opportunities to get involved with university life and we are certain that its digital services will prove to be critical as all students’ organisations look for new ways to stay accessible, engaging and relevant.
