How to Add Elected Candidates into Post

You can access this feature from your MSL System Admin site. Only Super Admins with Election Admins or Site Admins permissions can access the Election Counts window.

To bulk add your winners into their post groups, if your election contained a lot of posts, email support@ukmsl.com providing the ID of your election and the date you would like your winners to start and end their time in post.

1. Log in to your MSL System Admin site at https://[domainname]/msl/. The Home menu is displayed.

2. From the Home menu, select Voting. The Voting submenu is displayed.

3. From the Voting submenu, select Results. The Results window with a list of all Elections and Referenda with polling completed during the last month is displayed.
4. From the list of Elections, select the relevant election. The Election Counts window is displayed.
5. Next to the relevant Post, select New Count, then from the dropdown menu, click New Count. The Count Details window is displayed.
6. When you have completed the count, select one of the following options and follow that set of instructions:
   1. The count has already been approved
      • Click Populate. The Approve Count and Populate Winners dialog is displayed
      • If required, edit the Effective Date and Expiry Date fields
      • Click Populate. A confirmation message is displayed
   2. The count has not been approved
      • Click Approve/Populate. The Approve Count and Populate Winners dialog is displayed
      • Select the Populate Winners checkbox
      • If required, edit the Effective Date and Expiry Date fields
      • Click Approve/Populate. A confirmation message is displayed
