March 2015 - Spring has crept up on us - your officer elections are under way, everyone is making preparations for the Easter break and we have an abundance of news to tell you.  We need to let you know our Easter support hours so, seeing as you're all here, we'll take this opportunity to let you know about a few things we're excited about...

Easter holiday dates 

The MSL office and customer support desk will be closed from Friday 3rd to Wednesday 8th April inclusive. We will continue to monitor our systems and any urgent requests for assistance during that time. Normal service will resume at 09:00 on Thursday 9th April.

MSL welcomes FE provider's Student Association 

We're delighted to welcome our newest further education client, Edinburgh College Students’ Association (ECSA), as they take up our elections module to run their first online officer elections. They were impressed by the module's functionality and straightforward implementation to meet their short time scales. Real-time voting stats are here

In case you missed the fanfare, real-time voting stats have been released. Voting stats from data sources are included in the real-time display which is configurable to create attractive, dynamic voting dashboards perfect for keeping your candidates and voters engaged and encouraging any non-voters to get involved. Read all the voting release notes.

For one day only - Bolton Arena - 10th July 2015.  Put this date in your diary as MSL will be at the NUS Trade Show and we're looking forward to catching up with everyone there. Get in touch if you want to spend some time with us - we'll be able to give you a preview of new developments and there may even be some edible goodies on stand...

Solution of the week on the MSL Forum  

We'll be posting the most interesting, frequently asked or even downright odd case and our solution from the previous week on the website forum. We kicked off with how to quickly set up a club or society using templates, a common question for which, we're delighted to say, there is a simple solution. We welcome suggestions for future posts and, of course, you can add your own ideas, comments and recommendations to the forum whenever you're logged in.
